November...in review

November was a busy month for the Youth at St. Mark we kicked off the month at the ACCY High School Youth Convention. For those of you haven't attended before, Convention is a gathering of hundreds of high school students from parishes all over the Archdiocese. There were amazing key-note speakers, some fascinating workshops, and Mass was said byArchbishopBurnett.

The next weekend found a few our youth sorting donations and preparing dinner for some of our local homeless families at Providenc Hospitality House. It was a fun and truly fruitful experience. I hope that more people will come the next time we go. Stay tuned for details on our next visit.

In mid-November a few hard working indiviuals helped the St. Vincent de Paul Society put together and deliver food baskets for Thanksgiving. I was told that we provided a lot of help and that things went a lot faster because we were there.

A special thanks to: Anna, Catherine, Ranna, Grace, Rachel, Peter, Paul, Cosette, Rebekah, Laura, Nate, and Ashley.

This was a very full very busy month. I hope that everyone has a great holiday season and don't forget we have a St. Vincet de Paul service project on Saturday, Dec. 16th, from 7:00am to 11:am. I hope to see many of you there. Until then this is your friendly youth minister wishing good health and spirits during this Advent season.
